PDF Cleanup
The PDF Cleanup module lets you tidy up a single PDF - rotating pages that were scanned sideways and removing pages you don't want - before it goes anywhere near a batch job. Like PDF Merger, this runs entirely in your browser and doesn't require a Document Type or batch job.
How to clean up a PDF
- Open PDF Cleanup from the Modules section of the sidebar.
- Drop in (or browse for) a single PDF file. The platform generates a thumbnail for every page, shown in a grid.
- Hover over any page thumbnail to reveal its controls:
- Rotate counter-clockwise / Rotate clockwise - fix pages that were scanned in the wrong orientation.
- Delete - mark a page for removal. Deleted pages are dimmed and labelled "Deleted"; click Restore to bring one back.
- If your PDF has more pages than fit on one screen, use the Prev / Next buttons to move between pages of thumbnails (24 at a time).
- Set an output filename for the cleaned file.
- Click Compile & Download to generate a new PDF containing only your kept pages, with your rotations applied, and download it.
Keyboard shortcuts
While hovering over a page thumbnail, you can use your keyboard instead of the on-screen buttons:
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| Right Arrow | Rotate the hovered page clockwise |
| Left Arrow | Rotate the hovered page counter-clockwise |
| Up Arrow / Page Up | Go to the previous page of thumbnails |
| Down Arrow / Page Down | Go to the next page of thumbnails |
| D or Delete | Toggle delete on the hovered page |
note
Keyboard shortcuts are ignored while you're typing in a text field, so they won't interfere with editing the output filename.
