Installation Overview
Ugimate runs in your web browser. There is nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play - you simply open the right address, sign in, and (optionally) add the platform to your home screen or desktop so it behaves like a normal app.

The mobile address (mobile.ugimate.com) and the website address (dashboard.ugimate.com) are the same platform with the same data behind them - only the interface differs. Whichever you use, you sign in with the same account and see the same documents, batch jobs, and organisations.
What "installing" actually does
All three installs are Progressive Web App (PWA) installs. Rather than downloading a traditional app, your browser saves a shortcut and runs the platform in its own window. That gives you:
- Its own icon on your home screen, dock, or app list.
- Its own window, without the browser's address bar and tabs.
- Automatic updates - because the platform is still served from the web, you always get the latest version the next time you open it. There is nothing to update manually.
Installing is optional everywhere. If you'd rather just use a browser tab and a bookmark, everything works exactly the same.
Before you start
- You'll need an account. If you don't have one, ask an administrator in your organisation to invite you - see Roles & Permissions.
- Use a recent version of your browser. Very old browsers may not offer the install option at all.
- If your organisation restricts network access, make sure
dashboard.ugimate.comandmobile.ugimate.comare both reachable from your device.
